Related Information

Crescent Design has been in the business of designing and building proprietary custom equipment for over 20 years. This experience has given us a unique understanding of the need for confidentiality and discretion in order to protect the Intellectual Property of our customers. It is critical to the success and survival of Crescent Design that our customers know we can be trusted with whatever confidential information is disclosed.  With this in mind, all of our employees are made aware of and heed to a code of total non-disclosure with respect to our customer’s proprietary information.

Furthermore, Crescent Design will not design or build equipment for competing companies that is too similar in form and function.  For example, we built a machine for Company A and an employee from Company A moved to Company B.  This employee contacted Crescent Design and wanted to order the machine that we built for Company A for his new Company B.  We explained why this could not be done and the employee requested we build Company B a similar machine.  In some cases, we are able to solve a similar automation problem with a totally different approach.  This was not the case this time and, therefore, Crescent Design no bid the project in order to maintain the integrity of the equipment and proprietary information of Company A.
